Report: Sun 4th Aug – 5 Guided Walks!

Report 4th August – Guided Walks

Despite heavy rains, which persisted for much of the walk,  some 80 participants comprising the My Singapore Destination meet up group and 2 public walks in English and Mandarin, turned up. In addition , Bukit Brown  was also  a stopover point for the Love Cycling SG   group – some 60 of them – and a trio  of photographers, rambling on their own.

Group 1 of meet up group, Brownie Claire Leow reports:  Fabian and I guided this wonderfully engaged group which had a 4 year old toddler and a lovely Indian lady who persevered despite weak knees. (seeing mosquito larvae in the joss urn of Tok Cheng Tuan and wife, she elegantly swept aside her sari, bent over, and with her bare hands scooped out the larvae.) We took it slow and easy to accommodate and no one complained nor strayed. What a wonderful morning of sharing and caring!
