Tuesday, 17 December 2013: Exhumation Begins
Government exhumations for some 4,000 graves in the way of the highway began on Tuesday 17 December, without any official announcement. Sources on the ground brought some of the Brownies and a Mediacorp news team to Bukit Brown. It is understood that graves claimed by descendants will be exhumed first, followed by those unclaimed.
